Greenwood offers cricket, tennis, and swimming in the Summer months and hockey, soccer, and ball games in Winter. Swimming is undertaken at the Olympic pool at the local gym and the field sports take place on the premises using junior pitches. Plans for the enlargement and upgrading of our field are currently underway.
We have a specialised sport coach, who has had a great influence on the success of our teams. Greenwood, as a member of the Bitou 10 Foundation, takes part in fixtures against schools such as Plett Primary, Kranshoek Primary, New Horizon Primary, Knysna Primary and Knysna Montessori.
Our soccer teams, in particular, have proved to be `the ones to beat' and we take part in many tournaments throughout the year. |
