Greenwood Independent Primary is
a growing school and relies on fund raising for much of its
development. The school has some tried and tested traditions
for raising money and these include its famous annual auction
and music evening. These events draw in the larger community
in Plettenberg Bay. Each class also has the opportunity to
fund raise on an individual level and many fun initiatives
have come out of this. An example is the Grade 4 and 5 classes
who have become regulars at the Harvest Time Market every
Saturday morning. They have a great time serving wonderful
homemade soups and popcorn; selling their hand made book marks
and bath bombs.

With funding from the National Lottery Distribution Trust
Fund (NLDTF), Greenwood has been able to build it's first
soccer field plus a tennis / netball court. As well as the
facilities, Greenwood was also able to purchase necessary
sporting equipment. We thank that NLDTF for all their help!
